Our Christmas Picture

Even with mommy hobbling around on crutches it seems that everyone is having a wonderful Christmas so far. We do not know yet about surgery but we are not letting that slow us down any. As you see we went for our annual visit with Santa, JM is asking for a guitar, Douglas wants a polar the express and dump trucks, Kalie a doll house. So no big surprises there.

As for mommy we still have no updates on my foot, we will hopefully know something in on Monday. Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts.

What A Thanksgiving

Black Friday was not spent as I planned, I had hoped to go to the mall with my family and brave the crowds however I was on the couch with my ankle on top of two pillows, and an ice pack. On Thursday my ankle made the decesion not to work anymore which resulted in a grade III sprain, a chipped bone and a trip to the ER> So here I sit, still with foot propped up, watching my husband prepare for our trip home tomorrow. Monday I go see an ortho to discuss our options. What fun!

Thanksgiving time and memories

As we fast approach the holiday season I can not help but think back to some of my favorite holiday memories, they are in fact some of my first memories as well. The thing that stands out in my mind the most, I was around the age of five and we were having Thanksgiving at my grandmothers. I was trying to be helpful and in the process made a grand mess. I mixed the flour, sugar and salt all into one large bowl. It seems you do not need triplets in order to make a mess, just one triplet mom to be. Poor Grandmother had to run back to the store to buy all three for her baking. I then learned the difference in Salt, Sugar and Flour.

Lets hope that tomorrow we all have a blessed Thanksgiving and that the flower, sugar and salt remain where they belong.

Halloween pictures....

What a night, vomiting, up all night

and no not me, it has been forever since any of them have been this sick and it is not fun. To think it was all caused by medication I gave my poor baby. Back up to yesterday, I took Doug to the dermatologist for a fungal infection he has, she put him on this horrid medication. Anyway we get home and he is being an angel, he goes down stairs to play with Kalie and John Michael 15 minutes later he is crying, I run down, Kalie is sitting on him while JM hits him in the head with a firemen helmet. Lovely now we are beating up on our brother, he comes upstairs with me, while daddy puts the other two in timeout.

we eat dinner, Doug gets his meds, bath and then off to bed for everyone. Douglas is crying again, run up stairs and he is having his normal bathroom issues, (sorry douglas) we bring him down stairs and I sit with him while he works it all out. He goes back to bed after. He wakes back up at tenish crying, to his room we go and there it is vomit all over him, his bed the floor it was gross.. we get him up, bath time again, quick this time.

he is in major pain, stomach is cramping and he throws up to the point that he is dry heaving. I spent the entire night up with him, most of it in the bathroom. He took a great nap today and is feeling great. Poor boy had such a rough day yesterday...

No more therapy

And in case you are unaware this is not something I am happy about, it seems our current insurance ran has utilized max visits for the year, or will have after tomorrow's visit. Then there is the new insurance, that starts on Jan 1, they will only pay at a rate of 50%. I love our therapist, they have bent over backwards for us and have been working with the kids for the past three years. It is very hard to leave them. I guess I will start researching school based therapy for them. This is not the route I wanted to take as it goes on their school record. But it appears that I do not have any choice.

Just in case you are unaware of our issues, all three kids have what is called SPD, Sensory Processing Disorder. They can not process all the information coming in, which results in some behavioral problems. They did not talk till they were close to three years old, an aspect of the SPD. Therapy has helped them to come a long way, but we still have so much further to go. I am not sure where we will go from here. Keep us in your prayers.

Anticts of four year olds

Well I really thought I was finished with the blog post today. Then we came home from going to dinner the three of them went outside to play. Before I knew what was happening John Michael was at the top of the slide and he was peeing on the slide, and laughing his head off. I ran inside to get some towels to clean it off, while I was inside Douglas decides to walk up the slide

Yes the slide that JM just took a piss on, he slips lands on his face and now has his first black eye, bruised and swollen check and his nose is bruised as well. Nothing is broken he cried a good bit but he is okay.

Kids will be kids and boys will be boys I guess, but my goodness they are going to be the end of me.

Now that I have stopped laughing and realized that everyone is okay.

you can laugh as well

So many Pagels...

This past weekend we had lots of Pagels at our house, it was very nice to get to hang out with relatives that we never get to see and for all of them to finally get to see the kids. Everyone was really good and Payton even got to come over so Kalie Rose was not the only girl.

The triplets are doing great in school, they all love their teachers and are learning so much. Kalie is going to start dance in two weeks. The boys continue to do well in Soccer and are loving being a part of a team.

There really is not much family news to report. Maybe when things get more exciting I will have more to say

The boys start Soccer

It is so hard to believe that they are old enough to play sports, but it is here and they are doing great. The first game they won 8 to 4, second game was a win as well 5 to 4, they do not keep official score, however daddy kept up with it. They are rally enjoing the games and pratice and having a blast with daddy.
Kalie Rose is going to start dance soon, I hope that she is as excited about it as the boys are about soccer.

The only other news on the home front is that I was lucky enougth to get the flu, yes the flu, already this year, I am doing well, the kids have not gotten it, Thank goodness and neither has daddy. I am doing better and am on the upswing. I just can not believe that flu season is here.

Had to show off our new outfits, made by Sweetbirdie from Etsy..

they were so cute in them.. It was too hot for the boys to wear the pants. but you get the idea.

First day of Preschool

I can not believe it is here and that everyone survived. We had our first day of four year old preschool. It was a tramatic day for mommy and JM as it was his frist day in a class by himself. However He loved it on day two. (so I did not post yesterday, I was busy)

As this is our third year at the school it is our third year here and our last. (now that will be sad for mommy) The teachers seem nice this year and the kids are really excited to be back with their friends..
