Funny Conversations with Triplets

Having triplets you find yourself having conversations you never dreamed you would have, from do not play with your brothers penis, play with your own to trying to explain to a five year old that she does not have a "winny"

Last night was one of those times and it was well just to priceless not to share:

So keith is out of town this week for work, last night for a treat I let the kids take turns taking a bath in our room and watching tv on our bed.

Kalie was last when I get her out of the tub and am trying to dry her off she says to me

"Mom, I will dry my winny, its my privates and you should not touch it"

It took all I had not to bust out laughing. I explained to her, yet again, that she does not have a winny, she has a vagina, a monkey or a frog but never a winny.

she said

"but the boys have a winny, I want a winny, why can I not have a winny, mom can you make doug or jm give me their winny and I can give them my vagesta"

okay by this time I am rolling on the floor. I can not help it.

Douglas then says "there is no way I am giving her my winny, I like it, it makes going potty easier and I do not want to potty out of my but like Kalie does"

John Michael

"No, Way mom. I am keeping mine, what would I play with in the bathtub if I did not have one"

so we have a winny and a vegesta... I have always called them penis and vagina to them. Just goes to show they are going to call it what they call it.

As you see it is not all hard work, there is a lot of laughter as well

Open House night at school

Who knew there was so much stuff for kids in kindergarten. I had one hour to met three teachers, the speech therapist, ot, and sign them up for lunch and get their agenda's. I felt like I was the tornado running through the school, which if I must say was a mad house.

Now I must get organized and everything ready for Monday morning, it seems to never end.

The boys were very excited about their class rooms, in fact their favorite part was the pencil sharpeners. Who would have thought that a pencil sharpener could be so much fun. To my five year olds they were.

I am very excited about their teachers and where their class rooms are located. Kalie is sitting at a table full of blond hair little girls. She will love that. I hate that she did not get to go last night but then again it would have just been that much more fun for mommy had she been with me.

Douglas and Kalie have their first homework assignment. Yes, I am serious. Douglas has to place items in a small white bag that represent who he is (train and helicopter I told him we should put a picture of him, Kalie and JM as well. Kalie has to do a picture story, pictures of her family and favorite things.

So the fun begins.

Okay two days in a row, two big milestones for my kids

Yesterday Douglas started swimming. Today I took off the training wheels. thinking I would be putting them right back on.

Guess again..
Douglas took off, I held on to him for all of one time and he just got it, he can really do this, he was off like a mad man. I am so proud of him..

John Michael took a big more work but he got it as well. Before I knew it, within an hour my boys no longer needed their training wheels, they are really no longer babies are they..

Kalie hates her bike.. go figure, she never rides it. So maybe one day I can come brag on her as well.
